Kyle Waves’ first collaboration with Family Video Store was filmed minutes before New Year’s Eve. Happy Now features cinematography by Martin Olloren. [42]
41. Luna Pier - On Nails
Ann Arbor-based Luna Pier pays homage to 90’s VHS tapes and Power Rangers. Digital grain and bold typography embody a post-MTV generation. On Nails sounds best played at college frat parties. [41]
40. Echo Huang - Sad 22
Echo Huang blows out birthday candles in this moody, dim-lit recollection of a lonely 20’s. Sad 22 captures stolen moments in empty laundromats, creaky pianos, and books by the fireplace. [40]
39. Mei Semones - Kemono
Mei Semones’ third music video pays homage to 1960’s Japanese horror films like Kuroneko and Kwaidan. Off her debut EP, Kemono was filmed in a historic Boston graveyard and features her longterm producer Kai Tsao in a cat costume. [39]

Kyle Waves’ second collaboration with Family Video Store, Good For Me, was filmed atop a Long Island City high rise during sunset. [38]

36. Frances Baker - No Sympathy
Frances Baker plays dress up at a fish market. Shot during the dog days of a Boston summer, “No Sympathy”delivers Britney-pop with a glimmer of goth. Ava McCoy and Reggie Pearl costar in a climactic finalé on the beach. [36]
35. Mei Semones - Yoake
It makes sense that Mei Semones’ second music video, “Yoake,” was filmed in an art museum. Dressed in a simple white gown, red snakeskin gloves, against Greek and Roman statues, Mei Semones is posed like a sculpture. [35]
34. Lazrwolf - Still Kinda Love You
LAZRWOLF, the lovechild of Brooklyn-based Aaron Ginns and Sofia Luetich, pays hammy homage to Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Still Kinda Love You was filmed in association with Anita Gelato. [29]

Fitted with feathers and constricted by Christmas lights, Lil Wet Wet is not your typical Soundcloud rapper. Art Gloss was filmed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Times Square at midnight. [32]

Film composer and sound designer Gisela Fullà-Silvestre, aka NOIA, makes bedroom pop inspired by her Barcelona roots. In Reveal Yourself, NOIA dresses head-to-toe in gold, serenading sharks and jellyfish at the Brooklyn Aquarium. [31]

Shock artist and pop culture provocateur Angel004 delivers a twisted take on the KitchenAid infomercial. Please don’t ask what’s for dinner. [30]
29. Madelline - I’m only here for the beat
Canadian-born, viral TikTok superstar Madelline battles against paparazzi and identical lookalikes in this adrenaline-fueled joyride through the Lower East Side. Filmed outside the Roxy Hotel, Madelline makes Uber Black look sexy. [29]
28. Reiham - Vacation
Detroit-based Reiham’s first music video arrives in IKEA fashion, from showrooms to sales floors, and heated arguments over furniture. Allusions to Randall Park’s limited web-series IKEA Heights are hard not to spot. [28]
27. AJ Smith - We’re All Gonna Die
AJ Smith, as featured on the Kelly Clarkson Show, serves his second collaboration with Family Video Store in “We’re All Gonna Die.” Filmed at the Museum of the Moving Image, AJ’s brain is monitored until he breaks out the matrix. [27]
26. Galore x Namasenda
Galore Magazine teams up with PC Music alum and Year 001’s freshman pick, Namasenda, in this eye-popping, minute-long, mini-music video set to the opening lines from her debut studio album, “Unlimited Ammo.” [26]
25. Knockturnal x P1Harmony
South Korea’s beloved P1Harmony doesn’t fly to New York City for nothing. The Knockturnal Magazine, founded by producer OJ Williams, invites the K-pop phenomenon over for a photoshoot with the late Jeiroh Yanga. [25]
24. PYNKIE - Plz
PYNKIE’s premiere "Plz” on Wonderland Magazine takes us right back to the 90’s. Filmed atop a Playmobil rug and Dave & Buster’s in Time’s Square, Pynkie’s first collaboration with Family Video Store is a bittersweet ode to suburbia. [24]
23. Rocco Bunko - F*** Are They Talking About
Rocco Bunko is a Philadelphia-based rapper making beats faster than he can spit. Guerilla filmed in Gucci and Prada stores, F*** Are They Talking About is as provocative as its title. [23]

Turkish-born popstar INJI, best known for her TikTok hit Gaslight, follows up with her sophomoric single, Madeline. Get ready for a night out with INJI and her besties, take the wrong cab, and get way too hungover in the morning. [22]
21. Jinsune - Best Lies
Korean-American rapper Jinsune claims he turned down a record deal with 88rising. Best Lies was filmed in abandoned parking lots, empty laser tag venues, and karaoke lounges way past my bedtime. [21]
20. Father Koi - Silk
Filmed in narrow streets on Wall Street, Father Koi’s Silk presents the hyperpop singer / songwriter chased by crows in business suits. Befriending a tarantula, Father Koi spins her own web through the subways of New York. [20]

Former producer for the late Lil Peep, Fish Narc from Goth Boi Clique reminisces on 2017 and the darker underbelly of the music industry. Smoke Marijuana, despite its ironic title, demonstrates that darkness manifested. [19]

Nobody at Hadji Gaviota’s school knows he’s a TIDAL Rising Artist. Ooh That’s Hard features Hadji swapping outfits like he’s in Grand Theft Auto. [18]

Mei Semones and Micah Rubin from The Brazen Youth step fresh out the candy store in this sprinkled and pastel confection of a dream. [17]
16. Trophy Wife - Ask Me Anything
Ask Me Anything chronicles Brooklyn-based Trophy Wife and her kitchen staff preparing to cook her beloved pet rabbit. All’s well that ends well. [16]

Los Angeles-based Dafna is a software engineer by day, TikTok-viral singer / songwriter by night. What’s More Romantic? pays homage to Amelie, French cinema, and the Manic Pixie Dream Girl in all of us. [14]
13. Perry Maysun - Energy Fiendz
Perry Maysun paints like Jackson Pollock with fresh fruits and vegetables. Splatter paint has never tasted so good. Energy Fiendz was filmed in collaboration with Next Level Gallery, a Brooklyn-based art studio. [13]
12. cr1tter - Motivational Geeker
cr1tter’s Motivational Geeker is presented in sporadic sketches, scribbled in stolen moments at the New York Public Library. With a giant pencil in one hand, cig in the other, cr1tter respectfully gives no f***s. [12]
11. Ravenna Golden - Not There Anymore
Ravenna Golden’s initial pitch envisioned a wagon for a mud-covered Cat Samuel Uribe to literally trudge along. Not There Anymore takes a look and pries apart the deadweight in Ravenna’s life. [11]
10. Sophie Cates - I don’t see you (how i used to)
Sophie Cates ditches the name Silver Sphere and explores grief and loss after a harrowing breakup with singer / songwriter Lauv. Inspired by Where the Wild Things Are, I don’t see you (how i used to) is a page from a picture book. [10]
9. Azie Bug - Nobody Checks on Jesus
According to Family Video Store, Jesus died in 666 BC and her name was Azie Bug. Strapped with a faux pregnancy belly and Renaissance garb, Azie tends to her village’s needs. Wait until the end when she gives birth to a live fish. [9]
8. Mei Semones - Muchuu
Mei Semones’ debut music video delectably blends dark and sweet, pulling veiled references from murderous bunnies to Greek sculpture. Scrappy camera work pairs well with Japanese bossa nova. Shot on a DSLR, Muchuu ages like fine wine. [8]
7. Babebee - Happy Ending
Epitaph Records, founded by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewtiz, signed their first female, Asian-American artist in 2022. Babebee is the imagination of Atlanta-born Mimi Kim, and her bass packs quite the punch. [7]
6. Denn. - Rottenteeth
Boasting over a million streams on Spotify, Rottenteeth is proudly Denn’s most popular song. A spiritual sequel to Father Koi’s Silk, Denn pulls off a train robbery but ends up lost at sea. [6]
5. 8485 - Same tasks
When hyperpop producer 8485 first dropped 1:15, she had no way of anticipating its response. Same tasks features 8485 at the fruit market, with guest appearances by Blackwinterwells and the Frost Children. [5]
4. SEBii - FruitNinja.ipa
Hyperpop legend SEBii is transported inside an IRL game of Fruit Ninja. Father Koi appears alongside a band of kuroko, black-clad stagehands paying homage to traditional Japanese kabuki theater. [4]
3. Rachel Prancer - See-through
Rachel Prancer, formerly known as Spiderblush, poses against a highway overpass in See-through, a love letter to her hometown Tampa, Florida. [3]
2. Clifford - Sheepskin (feat. Mei Semones)
Sheepskin pays homage to Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein wrapped in wool-knit. Costume designer Luce Threads dons full-body crochet and romps around New York City. Mei Semones and Clifford are on hot pursuit. [2]
1. Ava McCoy - Sedona
Sedona was filmed on a soccer field in the midst of a Boston winter. Ava McCoy and Frances Baker star in this ode to the Spaghetti Western. [1]
